Awesome!

August 22nd

As I said before, so far I really was lucky with the things that happened to me in Canada. But this day was just another amazing day!

Toni dropped by in Collingwood to get us back to Toronto where we intended to get an insurance for the car we saw on the Internet and to meet the Germans who want to sell it. We were sure about one thing: We can't buy the car before we got a good offer for an insurance because the offers we got in Collingwood were like 13.000 bucks for a year. Way too much. And what we needed was a short-term police for 3 months.

So we gathered our stuff and left with the Lexus. The drive was just for about 20 minutes until we reached the terminal where Toni's  hangar is. In it besides some other stuff like a Morgan as shown in the picture below he got a small propeller driven airplane - the Seneca V.

One thing that Toni likes so much about Canada is a freedom that stopped existing in Europe decades ago. Here in Canada you just get on your airplane and fly and land more or less wherever you like. Toni keeps flying between Toronto, his Hangar in Collingwood and his field near to the farm, he is actually living in his vehicles.

Maybe "small" is not quite the right word because the plane has actually 6 seats is really fast.

It is said that Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world and I couldn't agree more...

We landed at the Airport in Buttonville and drove the rest of the way in the Jaguar.
Back in Toronto Toni says that he doesn't want us to go to the Hostel again, so he offered us to stay in one of his Condos. Just under the condition that we should pretend that nobody is living there because he wants to sell it, so everything has to look unused and the bed have to be made "nice and neat" every day.
That was no problem with us, in the contrary, it is very nice here, especially the view:

This is the view to the lake

And here to the city:

As 100.000 people move to Toronto every year, there are still being build many new skyscrapers.

Especially nice by night:

I don't like the city of Toronto really, but behind the glass in the condo with this great view, life seems to be further away and you feel like a distant observer of the life going like a clockwork.
I hope you're enjoying your life as much as I do at the moment
take care
